Message In A Bottle
Nicholas Sparks
As always, Nicholas Sparks manages to capture my attention with his romantic stories in this fantastic book.
Message in a Bottle receives ten points out of ten for a captivating read and warming yet bittersweet story.
The story begins with the character Theresa, who is divorced and has a 12-year old son. During a short vacation with friends to the coast, Theresa discovers a true message in a bottle washed up on shore. Inside she finds a moving, yet tender love letter from a man named Garrett to his dearest Catherine. For Garrett, this seems a way for him to express his feeling for a woman who is no longer in his life.
Pressured by her co-worker at the Boston newspaper, at which she is a columnist, Theresa publishes the letter in her column, and in response receives hundreds of responses from her equally as moved readers. The published column brings two more 'messages in a bottle' to Theresa's' attention that were retrieved, both also from the mysterious man, Garrett.
Theresa become so affected by Garrett's love letters, that she embarks on a quest to find Garrett, who he is, and what makes up the man that writes the most romantic of love letters. Once finding the man of everyone's dreams, Garrett and Theresa begin weaving a romance that will make hearts melt. Nicholas Sparks guides readers through Theresa's journey with written words that readers will agree with, sympathize, laugh and cry. Intense waves of emotion ripple through the story that help readers find the truth and what true love can do.
Grab a cup of hot chocolate and sit down on a rainy day to read Message in a Bottle to discover the magic that Nicholas Sparks creates. Enjoy your rainy days with the shower of love……………….
Have a great time everyone….

With love
